The card gets you the following benefits:


You can only use the card if you pay in cash, the Takashimaya official credit or debit cards (does not stack with any credit card discount), and gift certificates. You can't use the discount to buy some high-end brands, gift certificates, tour companies, major stores within the building such as Nitori or Uniqlo, and some other things. Comment

If you like shopping at Takashimaya then this is probably something you'll find very worthwhile as the 10% can add up fast with the kind of products they sell. Not being able to use it with non-Takashimaya credit cards is somewhat inconvenient, but if you shop at Takashimaya enough you'll probably want their credit card, and if it's just an occasional visit then then it's reasonable to just bring cash. If you're a big spender then you'll probably want to go for the 500 share tier.
