Matsuya operates department stores in Ginza and Asakusa, Japan. Its department stores provide women's fashion products, cosmetics, fragrances, and watch and jewelry; men's fashion and sports products; children's wear and goods; and household goods. It also operates restaurants and cafes in Ginza.
Not to be confused with Matsuya Foods, Matsuya is one of the top high-end department stores in Ginza, known for its high-end brands, luxury fashion, accessories , and luxurious interior.

Details
Shareholder card which can be used at Matsuya Ginza, Asakusa, Petit Petit Marche, and the Ginza Matsuya Maronie street building.
The card gets you the following benefits:
10% off the majority of products
2% off products that are on sale, food, restaurants, and cafes.
5% off some wedding-related plans at certain restaurants.
Free entry for you and one other person to any special exhibitions or galleries.
You can only use the card if you pay in cash, the Matsuya official credit card (does not stack with the credit card discount), and Matsuya gift certificates. You can't use the discount to buy some high-end brands, gift certificates, tour companies, and some other things. You can see the full list here.
In addition, at higher share levels, you will now receive Matsuya points which can be used at some of the stores in the department store or in their online store, February rights date only.
Requirements
100 shares for the discount card.
For the points, they require 3 years holding the shares or longer:
500 shares - 5,000 points
2,000 shares - 10,000 points
Comment
If you like shopping at Matsuya then this is probably something you'll find very worthwhile as the 10% can add up fast with the kind of products they sell. Not being able to use it with non-Matsuya credit cards is somewhat inconvenient, but if you shop at Matsuya enough you'll probably want their credit card, and if it's just an occasional visit then then it's reasonable to just bring cash.
