Hachi-Ban Co., Ltd. engages in the restaurant management business in Japan and internationally. The company also produces and sells food products, soups, and extracts; wholesales food for commercial use; and sells, imports, and exports food, seasonings, and ingredients. In addition, it is involved in the restaurant franchise and property letting business.  


They're mostly concentrated in the Hokuriku area, and are most famous for their Hachi-Ban Ramen chain of stores. They also operate a selection of Japanese restaurants. They've been doing some expansion into Southeast Asia, especially in Thailand.

Details

Gift certificates in tickets of 500 yen which can be used at their restaurants. You can trade your tickets for products, with the price of the products being either 4 or 5 tickets, and you can order several products at once as long as you have enough tickets.

Requirements


100 shares - 2,500 yen worth.

200 shares - 5,000 yen worth.

400 shares and up - 10,000 yen worth if held less than five years. If held for five years or more then you get an extra 1,000 yen for the March rights date.

Comment

These certificates scale with the amount of shares held, and if you hold the maximum 400 shares for five years then it'll be the best yield, which is fairly rare. Hachi-Ban stores are heavily concentrated in Hokuriku and do not have any stores anywhere near major cities like Tokyo or Osaka, so being able to exchange them for products is of great value and provides a reason to invest in the stock no matter where you live.
