Details
Shareholder card which can be used at Matsuzakaya and Daimaru department stores.
The card gets you the following benefits:
10% off the majority of products and restaurants/cafes
Free entry to any special exhibitions or galleries at Daimaru, Matsuzaka, and Parco.
You can only use the card if you pay in cash or the store's official credit card (discount does not stack with any credit card-related discounts). You can't use the discount to buy some high-end brands, CDs gift certificates, tour companies, and some other things. There are a few stores in the group that you cannot use the discount card at. You can see the full list here.
Previously, you could also receive a special credit card which would give you a discount at Parco stores. At the moment the credit card agreement with Saison is ending and a replacement system has not been decided. It is likely that in the future a discount system for Parco will be announced, and I will update this article if so.
Requirements
There is a maximum limit to how much of a discount you can get every year with this card, depending on how many shares you hold and for how long.

3,000 shares - 4 million yen.

3,000 shares - 5 million yen.
4,000 shares - 6 million yen.
Comment
If you like shopping at Matsuzakaya and/or Daimaru then this is probably something you'll find very worthwhile as the 10% can add up fast with the kind of products they sell. Not being able to use it with non-affiliated credit cards is somewhat inconvenient, but if you shop at the stores enough you'll probably want their credit card, and if it's just an occasional visit then then it's reasonable to just bring cash. The upper discount limit restriction will probably not be too much of a hinderance for most people, and I assume that if it was, you'll have no problem buying additional shares to get around it.
