Comment
There are a wide range of hotels offered all around the country, and you can also use the tickets at the Hotel Washington and Hotel Gracery chains. 50% off seems like a great discount, but the system is confusing. It's 50% off the base room rate, which you'd think would just be a 50% off your bill but in reality if you compare the shareholder site vs. the main one you only save a few thousand yen, although apparently in specific circumstances you can save around 10,000 yen. I don't really understand how it works, but I guess there are a lot of different fees besides the room itself when making a booking? It's still cheaper than the normal price, but it might be possible to find a comparable or cheaper price through online travel sites so make sure to check.
The restaurant and onsen tickets are a straight discount, and the venue tickets are very nice if you're traveling in the area. They have some hotel options in the areas where the venues are, so you can make a nice trip out of it.
